Created as part of a three-phase $40 million renovation project, the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner in McLean, Virginia, is a testament to the hotel giant’s commitment to exploring the latest technology innovations to enhance the global traveler’s experience at its properties. Offering an eye-catching blend of interaction, work and collaboration, the new lobby design incorporates a dedicated Technology Lounge that modernizes the traditional business center concept as well as an 18-hour bar and stylized, pod front desks for personalized hotel check-ins.
“Our inspiration for the lobby design concept and integrated Technology Lounge was the opportunity to re-imagine a key hotel next to Hilton Worldwide global headquarters while making it an exciting testing ground for future design and technology innovations,” said Josh Weiss, vice president of Brand and Guest Technology, Hilton Worldwide.
Weiss continued: “This project was a strategic investment that brought together the brightest minds across Hilton Worldwide and our flagship Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand, with everyone from the hotel staff to respective design, technology, construction, marketing and operations teams working in unison to create a dynamic lobby that is more relevant for today’s travelers.”
