Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) is showing off a new way to access music. The company just debuted the RKM-1+ keypad.
Picking up where the RKM-1 left off, the RKM-1+ has an elegant design, two-way feedback and direct IR control. However, it also boasts a new level of customization via a selection of faceplate covers and hard buttons.
Another nifty feature is that the selected source lens is interchangeable. Dealers can even create unique lens options, via the RTI Laser Shark custom engraving service. Talk about personalization!
It also delivers control, of course. RTI says that the keypad can be combined with RTI’s two-way compatible control processors for bi-directional communication with almost any multi-zone receiver or distributed audio system. It can also control AV devices up to 1,000 feet away via an IR output port.
“We are very happy to release the RKM-1+ keypad to complement our ever-expanding category of solutions for distributed AV. The RKM-1 keypad was very popular with our dealer network, and the enhancements made to the RKM-1+ have been very well-received,” said Pete Baker, vice president of sales and marketing for RTI. “As part of our enhanced audio distribution solutions unveiled at this year’s CEDIA, dealers loved the RKM-1+, and we are happy to say that it is available now.”
RTI is shipping the RKM-1+ now with white, black, and light almond faceplate covers. The keypad is sized for a single-gang electrical box with a flush fit.
