The latest projectiondesign projector is quite the beast, able to deliver stunning 2D and 3D images even in the most demanding setting.

The F85 3-chip DLP projector is the brightest in the company’s line, with 11,000 lumens. Other features include a contrast ratio of 14,000:1, proprietary Advanced Color Optical Processing (ACOP), the RealColor color management system, and projectiondesign’s DuArch dual illumination architecture.

As far as the 3D is concerned, the F85 can deliver those special effects using active or passive 3D stereoscopic mode. That stereoscopic option basically eliminates the need for multiple projectors in the setup.

According to projectiondesign, the F85 is available in WUXGA or 1080p resolution versions, as well as a special model that can optically switch between REC709 and DCI P7 color spaces.

“Performance, versatility, connectivity, brightness and low cost of ownership were our objectives when creating the new F85 series,” says Anders Løkke, projectiondesign’s marketing director. “The F85 is compatible with a range of input and outputs including X-PORT module connectivity and bandwidth opening up the markets in which it can be used including rental and staging, live events, visitor attractions, advanced visualization and simulation and training.”

Compatible with ProNet software for network-based control, monitoring and calibration, the F85 is made for 24/7 operation and comes with a 5-year warranty.

The F85 series is available now. To get a quote or find out about purchase information, check out projectiondesign’s website.
