Middle Atlantic Products debuts surge protection, which is non-sacrificial and non-degrading, for its advanced power monitoring and management products till date.

The company’s patent-pending Series Protection technology is now being offered in new models of RackLink Power Management products.

The RackLink suite of products displays extensive monitoring and preemptive support functions to provide installers with easy power monitoring and management for A/V systems. They are able to maintain A/V system reliability through automatic actions like automated restart, turning on emergency fans and shutting down equipment for security in situations causing overload or over-temperature.

Along with series type surge suppression, the new RackLink system models offer better functions such as programmable sequencing, emergency Power Off with automatic recovery option and auto shutdown in over and under-voltage events with automatic recovery.

They have more controlled outlets, front panel control of individual outlets, and a disable function in order to avert unofficial access. For compressed spaces, there is a new half rack size model available.

RackLink offers simple, plug-and-play functions and manageable communication. The RackLink system also offers hands-on power management, besides the vital features of any power management system, including local, remote and automatic reboot of individual outlets and dry contacts.

These practical features are inclusive of input voltage and temperature monitoring, as well as user-defined monitoring of thresholds and logging and issuing of email alerts if monitored values breach user-selected thresholds. All of these elements make sure that system downtime is reduced with maximum system performance.TD End Icon Final 14 px
