Have a big audio/video setup? There’s nothing Leaf Audio can’t handle.
The company just introduced the LTHDMI2020E, a 20x20 matrix switcher with four HDMI and 16 HDBaseT outputs. Leaf says that the product is an industry first, producing unprecedented AV distribution.
The bottom line: This device can receive audio and video from up to 52 potential sources. Know another product that can do that?
The LTHDMI2020E has four, back-panel HDMI outputs for in-rack or in-room video and audio connectivity, as well as 16 HDBaseT LTB1E remote breakout units. Besides AV, it can also control data and Ethernet connectivity—and all up to 328 feet away.
Other features include 20 HDMI 1.4 inputs, as well as 16 SPDIF (coax) digital audio and 16 analog audio outputs. The LTHDMI2020E also has 16 bi-directional IR ports and RS-232, for passing control signals to remote devices. It also has a sleek front-panel touchscreen to make operation easy.
“This is the industry’s first 20x20 switcher with local HDMI connectivity and in-built audio matrix switching,” said Dean Vaughan, Leaf Audio’s director of sales and marketing. “With the ever-growing demands of whole home HD video, our 2020E offers unparalleled connectivity and features for even the most complex custom install project.”
Leaf will start shipping the LTHDMI2020E at the end of this month. The unit will be priced at $15,000, plus another $350 per LTB1E breakout unit.
