IntraCom Systems, LLC, has a little something new for controlling multi-channel intercom keypanels.
The Los Angeles-based company just announced the TCP-403, a new 2RU VCOM Touchpanel. Ideal for broadcast, defense, house of worship and other commercial applications, the TCP-403 can support up to 250 channels configurable for point-to-points, group calls and party lines.
According to the company, the TCP-403 also has noise suppression and echo cancellation technology, as well as an integrated 3-inch speaker and panel microphone. Other features include a high-res dual touchscreen selector, individual channel volume controls with on-screen level indicators (+ 6–18dB), and an on-screen telephone dial-pad with on-selector caller ID.
IntraCom says that the system works with two-way radios, phone networks, VoIP/SIP, and other intercom systems, as well as dynamic, electret, or USB headsets. It also works interchangeably with VCOM on PCs, tablet PCs, Macs, and Android and iOS devices.
