When you’re paying big money for a secluded getaway, of course you want all the finest things in life. That includes a state-of-the-art A/V system that allows you to escape from your everyday life, but not be completely removed from reality.
That was the goal for Gateway Canyons, a sprawling resort in a remote area of Colorado that’s two hours from Grand Junction, the closest city. The resort hired CEAVCO Audio Visual to upgrade some of the getaway’s technology offerings.
Relax Away Your Cares
Gateway Canyons offers its guests opportunities for adventure, learning and relaxation. Featuring lodging, dining, educational programs, fitness spa and the world-class Gateway Colorado Auto Museum, the resort’s “educational vacations” offer a unique getaway experience for families, groups and corporate clients.
CEAVCO’s involvement with the project goes back to February 2007, and the company then oversaw an A/V installation at the Kiva Lodge on the resort grounds in April of that year. The infrastructure for the Palisade Event Center was installed in August 2008, followed by the A/V infrastructure for the Mission Bell a few months later. CEAVCO installed lighting controls in the Palisade building in early 2009 and a new A/V system that summer.
