Earlier this month, Leviton announced plans to purchase the company HAI. Now, the newly merged company is cranking out products! The latest in the lineup is the Bluetooth Remote Input Module (RIM) for the Hi-Fi 2 distributed audio system.
The Bluetooth RIM (which also goes by part number 95A04-2) connects to the Hi-Fi 2 via a single Cat5 cable. From there, portable devices, such as laptops, tablets and smartphones equipped with Bluetooth, can broadcast stored and streaming music throughout a business. It even has an input module for wired devices, like a radio tuner or DVD changer.
According to the company, up to eight Bluetooth devices can be used in a single installation, and stream music from Pandora, Spotify, iTunes, YouTube, and much more.
The HAI by Leviton Bluetooth RIM is now available across all sales channels.
