Even IF Apple’s new Map app turned out to be the best thing since sliced bread, I am still beyond beside myself that Apple took away something everyone loved. Ironically now they are recommending that if you hate their Map App so much you can download another one—including—hark a quiet mention of Google. Hmmm, I hope they stop throttling back the speed iOS loads Google.
But here’s the thing—I need turn-by-turn for driving, which is why I was happy to hear that the iOS 6 Maps apps included that. Even though I use Google Maps for walking—i don’t have voice, turn-by-turn for driving. I have to use the Garmin app that I paid $49.99 for.
Last weekend I did try out the iOS Map app on my iPhone 5 for a simple 20-mile
